THE BRAVEST FAMILY IN THE WORLD!

So this last weekend my whole family and Avi, Ava and myself went to see the movie BRAVE. I was loving it. The look of the movie, the feel of it, the accents and the humor. I was enjoying the film immensely. Ava, on the other hand, about 10 minutes into it was not enjoying the movie. I think it just was not able to capture her 18 month old attention! As she would scream every time we tried to put her in a chair, Avi and I took turns taking her out of the movie and into the hallway where she ran around like a hopped up sugar crazed squirrel. She was not going to sit through the movie and that was that. About a half hour in Avi, Ava and I left the theater. What I did see of the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed. I can not wait for a date night with Avi to finally go and finish watching this beautiful film. I am already obsessed with Merida's (the leading girl) hair and her horse. I want them both. I want a huge horse, that I can ride around the forest, and go on great adventures with. Sadly, at least for a very long time, that is not a possibility so I got the hair instead. Just to satisfy the desire. We had so much fun with the wig that I had found at the DISNEY store. Laughing and trying to get Ava to keep it on long enough to get a good shot. Avi was a riot when he would put it on and shoot me these glances of total goofy, excitement. So even though we didn't get to finish watching the movie here is a few pictures of all of us taking turns being Merida:-) Hahaha!

SNEAK PEEK AT TORI AND DAYNE'S WEDDING PHOTOS

So I am going through all of the wedding photos and there are so many beautiful pictures. I am working on getting them all edited so I can get them to you guys soon. Just wanted to give you a looks y at some of the ones I have finished already.... There are more already done but I just picked a few. I hope married life is rocking and you guys are having a blast. This is the best time for couples. Love you both and without further wait.... here they are:-)

IT'S BEEN WAY TOO LONG SINCE MY LAST POST

So, I know I have not posted for at least three weeks now. I was having a bit of a rough patch at times. Being sick for about a week totally killed my motivation for pretty much any and everything I needed to accomplish. Then I started to feel guilty and overwhelmed for not getting everything done like I wanted to. So, I kind of started to go through a downward spiral for a minute there. Overwhelmed at times by everything and then finally, I pulled myself out of my funk and decided to buck up and get back to work. Nothing feels better or more rewarding than getting the things done that weigh heavily on your mind. Once they are done, this huge weight just BAM, lifts right off your shoulders. Lesson learned: When feeling overwhelmed, slow down, step back and prioritize, take one thing at a time and before you know it you are back in the saddle. So, I am feeling a lot better, motivation has returned and I need to start busting out some work. Tori and Dayne's wedding was yesterday. I think I took about 500 or even more, pictures. It was such a beautiful wedding with just an awesome vibe to it. As soon as I get done editing the pictures, I will post some on here for you guys to take a gander at. Congrats to Torks and Dayne! I love you guys so very much and I am so happy that you have found that true, everlasting love. You are perfect together and you both deserve all of the happiness in the world. Love to all.

EASTER SHOOTS

Here are just a few shots from the Easter Wonderland Photo Shoot. It was such a fun day with the kiddos and I had such a great time taking their photos. Thanks to Karyn, Kami, and Brittany for being a part of this awesome day. We got some great shots of you and your little families. I am all done with putting together your pictures and will be delivering them to you tomorrow. Here is a sneak peek at some of the shots that we got. Hope you guys love them. Your little ones did so well and made my job super easy. What a bunch of beautiful, happy, little souls. It was a great day. RANDOM THOUGHTS. RANDOM SHOTS.

Green vase I got for a dollar at the DI. Such a beautiful piece of art. I have a couple of different vases and rarely do I put flowers in them. I don't know why but I like the look of a vase, just by itself. They may have been made for flowers but I think they are gorgeous without them.

I love coffee. I drink it every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. Also, it is fair to say that I am hooked on coffee mugs. Love to buy a new mug or two or three almost every time I go shopping. I have way too many to count and it's getting a little out of hand. I would probably be consider a Hoarder when it comes to mugs. To me, they are not just something to drink out of. They are a work of art.

My green tea pot. Love this thing. I have had it for the longest time and I refuse to replace it. I actually just bought a brand new red teapot and I still feel like there is no way I could ever betray my teapot by using the brand new, beautiful red, whistling heating machine. Maybe, I will just trade off so I can still have my old and new and get use out of both.

Vibrant red dressed, pregnant, day of the dead doll. Avi bought me this when he went out of town as a souvenir. I know, some people may find it weird or even creepy. Me? I absolutely love it. The second he handed it to me I thought this is the coolest pregnant doll ever.

Ava and I were looking out the window at the snow. Crystal ice sprinkled throughout the fluffy powder. So beautiful. I love snow. 'Nuff said.

SLEEPING BEAUTY

If you are a mother, or a father, there are moments that happen with your child that melt your heart completely. Moments that make you stop and realize just how much you truly LOVE your child. It can be something huge like their first steps, first word, or even something small like a smile or a giggle. This last week I was in awe of my baby girl and it was just because she fell asleep, on our bed, while I was working and she was playing. I look over and BAM she is out. I was completely lost in her. Just staring at her. She was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Peacefully sleeping. Her breathing so soft and her face so innocent. I was completely pulled away from my computer and lost in her. So, naturally I had to get some photos. I crept into our living room, grabbed the camera and crept back into our bedroom. Trying to be so quiet. I would have been devastated if I had awaken her while grabbing my camera. Luckily, I didn't. I think I took about 20-25 shots. I couldn't stop. She was so perfect. As I was taking pictures of her, a couple of times she actually opened her eyes and stared at me, then closed them again. It was so special and one of the best moments I have had lately. She truly is my sleeping beauty and my wildly, beautiful and sweet child. Oh, child of mine. You are mine and daddy's greatest accomplishment. We love you so much.

SOON TO BE MRS. VICTORIA FOX

Here comes the Bridals! Wow, they are gorgeous! Tori, you looked so beautiful in your wedding dress and projected so much confidence, elegance, and still managed to be fun and YOU at the same time. I loved the elegance of your wedding dress, with the craziness of your tights, shoes and Roller Derby skates and helmet. It made for such an interesting, colorful and very uniquely Tori Bridal Shoot. I loved every minute of it and I think the pictures turned out great. I hope you love them as much as I do. It was a blast and now I am thinking "Hell ya, bring on the wedding!". I love you and Dayne and I can not wait for the Big Day.

STRENGTH, HARD WORK, AND DETERMINATION EQUALS SUCCESS

I want to be strong. Physically, mentally, emotionally strong. Strong in every way possible. I want to strive for the goals I have set. Work hard for them, towards them, and never give up. I want to have determination to follow through with my path. Determination to accomplish something better, something greater, something defining. I want Success. So bad I can taste it. I want to explode over night and live for every moment I am given to make a difference, to change a life, to change my life. To live life in the moment always but strive for future goals to make new moments to live in. I am strong, I work hard and most of all I am determined. It is okay to struggle and to feel "weak" at times, that is when you need Strength, Hard Work and Determination the most. I just want people to know that. I feel "weak" sometimes, and STRONG sometimes. Never give up. Never give up on yourself, your work, your goals, your future. Never give up on your family, friends, loved ones. Just know everyone feels both their strengths and weaknesses at some point and time. Just keep on pushing and I just know something great will happen.

A MAN, LADY, AND A BLUE EYED BABY

So this was my last free session and I enjoyed every minute of it. Going to the park with Evan, Joey and Kayson to take their pictures could not have been more perfect. The weather was nice, the sky was blue and vibrant, and capturing you guys playing with Kayson was just right. Kayson was so adorable, giving me those shy little glances, looking up at the camera with his precious blue eyes and sweet smile. What a gorgeous little family you are. I am so happy and feel so blessed to have you in my life. I hope you three enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you for taking the time with me and letting me photograph you.
